कहते है  की  खुद्दार  मेरे  सहर  का  फाको  से  मर  गया 


राशन  जो  आ  रहा  था  वो  अफसर  के  घर  गया  


चढ़ती  रही  मज़ार  पर  चादर  तो  बे  शुमार 


बाहर  जो  एक  फ़क़ीर  था  शर्दी  से  मर  गया 


रोटी  अमिरे   सहर  के  कुत्तो  ने  छीन  ली  


फाका  गरीब  सहर  के  बच्चो  में  बट  गया 


चहेरा  बता  रहा  था  की  मारा  है  भूख  ने  


हाकिम  ने  कह  दिया  की  कुछ  खा  के  मर  गया
